>>During the cold winter, fresh water from the China-Russia border area freezes when it hits the chilly ocean. This ice then moves south toward Japan eventually reaching Hokkaido. There are various boats to take when wanting to view the ice floes but two of the more well known boats are the “Garinko” in Monbetsu and “Aurora” in Abashiri. The Garinko is fully equipped with an ice crusher on the bow and thus can make trips through the whole ice season the Aurora however sometimes cannot break the ice during the peak season but operates most of the time. There are also sea eagles and seals that follow the ice and they can sometimes be spotted from the boat. (taken from Hokkaido Guide)It might be safe to assume that the “Garinko” mentioned in this episode is simply the brand name for the popsicle she (Hiromi) is eating. Or, maybe it’s a popsicle made of “sea snow/ice”: “I like the sea snow.”

Personally, I prefer to stick with one fansubber, because it bothers me when one fansubbing groups calls something “this”, and another group calls that same thing “that”, if you know what I mean. There are many interpretations of a name or title, and I’d rather stick with one.

Besides all that, no offense to m33w but I have found errors in their translation that tend to annoy me, I’ve not encountered nearly as many errors. Most not really being errors, but just one of one hundred different was to describe one Japanese word in English. Hope things continue to go well for you guys moetaku and company~

I read it because it said “Possible spoiler”. Remove “possible” and I would avoid reading it. The word “possible” has connotations of “maybe”, so “possible spoilers” can also mean “possibly not spoilers”. Some people will take their chances and read, thinking it may be similar to watching short clips of the next episode at the end of the current episode. They may think these “possible spoilers” may reveal something about the episode without actually ruining the episode for them. Like watching the previews to a movie.

Guys, calm the flaming, it takes two to make an argument, and it is ones own choice of whether to read the information laid out within this page, this means that if you have been warned for even a possible spoiler, by reading further you are the one actually spoiling the next episode for yourself and not that of the other person who posted the spoiler.

I am the same way. I’ll wait patiently for a moe sub rather than watch another sub. And yes, they usually release things first. Things must have gotten kinda busy. I can’t really complain, only sympathize, since they do this for the fun of it and not as a job!

I thought I DL’d MOETAKU’S ep 11, but apparently that’s not true.

The opening song doesn’t even have the English translation…
