As soon as I see a 576p out I’ll start timing the bizatch, we won’t begin dialogue translation til tomorrow morning however… for the time being, seeing as we don’t have an appropriate raw, I’ve encoded a tl raw for _10tacle…. HOWEVER… I’m going to be making use of this extra time (no raw teim) to work on Sekirei shiz o_O

suiton, you don’t seem to understand… one missing word isn’t worth a reencode, I’m doing a v2 for it … but not for you, BettiePage caught the real issue, and aside from that you sort of have no right to act like a QC when you missed the biggest fucking issue… the logo in the OP sequence is a few pixels too large so it’s animation sequence is fucked.
Nonetheless, shut the hell up already, I told you already not to talk about that shit in irrelevant entries, this is Ep5 Status, not 3

@KRSD ~ that was a pre-release… there’s no “good work” in it at all -.- and of course we’re not gonna put that crap in our official releaes ;p We all HATE incestmango (aka Jaka -> Mr. Chihiro)
As an update, seeing as there’s no raw out still you can expect a bit of a delay as far as an official release. If you so desire speedsubs however, you can just download m33w’s seeing as their likely to just work off of the currently available raw–key phrase: shitty raw
In short, we’ll be taking our time on this one, albeit the script is already done and the only thing left is typesetting/encoding :/

I thought it might be a joke since when I googled it the results came from m33w fansubs, and they aren’t viewed in the best of light around here.
As for the waiting, I know it wasn’t a message to me personally, but here’s at least one person that doesn’t mind. You guys do good work, and if it takes a little bit more time to get it done than usual, so be it. Good luck in finding the raw soon though, to prevent comments from all those impatient people (Episode 2 status page). They annoy me for some reason…

we use 576p, those 720p’s are shit… I’m in Zero-Raws, not saying anything is wrong with them, just the simple fact that those cappers are capping station upscales, and it’s not good quality o_o

Ai << just stay on http://www.tokyotosho.com , there is all the raws you want, all the english subs, too. And it all depends for the raw, because Nogizaka is on many channels on the japanese televison and maybe that the 576p raw hasn’t been broadcasted yet… well, it broadcasted ’cause it seems P2A has the raw, by now.
The issue is the capper -.- and @ Ai we get the raw from the same source as all the other raws–share, pd, or winny.
p2a doesn’t have the 576, nobody does

just one minor suggestion since we’re all waiting (well most of us anyways) for the 576p raws, why not make a 720p fully subbed episode first (just in case 576p doesn’t come out or comes out REALLY late) then if and/or when 576p gets out you can just sub it later.
But that suggestion would mean extra work for Moetaku.
M.3.3.w should be releasing today though, so if you can’t wait, you should check in with them, even if it is speedsub

I’m not really sure ’cause I didn’t check all the 720p versions but I think we’ll have to shift the timing, and we don’t want to do this ’cause sometimes, it’s really a pain the ass. And the encoding is something like 2-3 hours, it would be a waste of time to do a 720p version.
i know encoding takes a long time (i should know, i tried), and i did watch the pre-release and no offense but there were a lot of typos in the pre-release (and yes, i do understand it is a PRE-RELEASE but still) and also I’m not a big fan of M.3.3.w subs.
Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not saying that i can’t wait for the better raws its just that in the unlikely but totally possible scenario that the 576p raw is no longer available then some other options will have to be considered.

I believe I said this earlier but we’re waiting til the day ep6 airs, if there’s still no 576p by then, we’ll move onto one of the other alternative cappings.

Yup, I should be done the signs in a little bit… m33w released awhile ago, however I’m thinking they ended up just using the crappy upscaled raw :/ This 576p raw we got is really colorful. Glad we waited for it :3

by the way, maybe you want to know why the raw takes so long. I talked to the person who is doing all the rips (which is a friend since maybe 5-6 years ?), he told me that most of the rippers live in the Kansai (Kyoto, Osaka, etc…) and the broadcasting is not at the same hour, not the same day, that’s why it took time. And we can’t do anything about it.
We will continue to wait for these really good (well compared to the others) raws from this week on, generally expect an official release out the day the next episode “airs.” We’ll continue doing pre-releases off of the crappy raws that air every Friday, and then wait til the Wednesday after that to finalize everything for our official releases

Sho, to clear up any confusion/misinformation…
m33w used a transport stream for their version of Nogizaka, so the image quality is supposed to be quite good.
I realize that no one here is really fond of m33w, but making unfounded claims about them out of spite doesn’t make anyone from Moetaku look any better.
So then…are there going to be versions of all the previous episodes in 576p as well, or are we just going to have to find copies of the raws ourselves, demux the subs from the previous episodes, and then mux them back with the higher-quality raws?

Their Special A is really good, since they are the only ones doing it, and their KGNE is also worth mentioning ^.^ overall, they do a pretty good job, but quality isn’t their main goal.
@fobis its not that no one here is fond of m33w, sho was just making a point that sometimes(if not most of the time) the raws m33w are using arent that good. although i want to say more, but it wont fit in this threads topic(sorry).

I was at first kinda felt that m.3.3.w’s release is sucks… but now, after comparing both moetaku’s and their release, on one Nogizaka release i felt that moetaku is better, then in other i thought m.3.3.w to be better, so i decided to just download and archive both.. lol.
lol, looks like another fansub group decided to take Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu.
i just checked tokyotoshokan, and Aquastar Anime just released NHnH episode 1 and 2… maybe I’ll download them to check the quality…. ;p

when I first started to see m33w, it was when they began, with School Days, the typeset, karaoke etc weren’t good but the translation was. Actually, I like this group, more than DB at least. We’re not making fun of them, don’t worry fobis.

Before I forget, I saw a few releases from chinese fansubs recently and finally at least some decided to do more than just speed subs and venture into quality subs. Although they are quite slow with the quality subs but they’re just as good as english quality subs.
Ahh! Enough with the chinese, take your time in encoding to produce best results.
