Just wanted to say ; Holy crap you guys did an awesome job. The quality was amazing for a 396p res file. The logo looks gorgeous.

The encode is pretty horrible, are you sure there aren’t better quality/higher resolution raws out there for you to use?
why when i play the nogizaka(mkv version)…it just like fast forwarding?anyone ?
arhh: If your saying it’s horrible, this means you don’t know what good is.
There is indeed no better RAW out, and the HD ones out there, are really horrible so be happy with what you get, since other groups will probably over-filter the other raws where I did the minimum of filtering.
hey dragon, i got the same issue on my other computer… the other computer only had CCCP… i’m guessing ccp is missing important decoders… so i tried it on my other computer that has k-lite megapack or w/e

about the encode i think its ‘ok’ considering its 704×400 and even playing in my full screen 1440×818 the video still looked nice..

I’d want to release this at a higher resolution, same with Sekirei, however, RAWs are too shitty…

A could play ALL mkv files just fine, and only 2 mkv files that had this same fastforwarding problem. One of it is this series, and the other is Serin’s koihime musou.
Are you guys using advanced codec or something? And downloading extra codec pack is too much a hassle.

File works perfectly for me, so I don’t think its CCCP’s problem. Maybe you’ve got some other codec thats clashing with CCCP.

I use CCCP. No other Codec installed. I have this problem only with this realese. ._.
I’m only using default MKV pack & CCCP. And like I said before, this is the first time I’ve encountered such a problem.

Using MPC and most recent CCCP release and I get fast forwarding just like the others do from the MKV release. Guess I get to download the xvid now and hope it plays ok.
mmmm…this prob when use cccp and mpc but when i use zoom player is ok…i guess mpc is prob…u think?
those who have cccp and played it on mpc …plz try zoom player is work for me ^_^
Hmm, I use Windows Media Player 11 with CCCP rather than MPC so maybe thats why I’m not getting the fast-forwarding problem.
Well, I use MPC in combination with CCCP and there are no fast-forwarding problems with me. Guess that something on your comp is messed up.
On the other hand you could also try out different renderers in MPC to fix this. Just an idea.
Mpc with CCCP codec : fast-forwarding problem too
With vlc and ubuntu, the image is good, but the sound is corrupted with the mkv file.
I also got the fast-forwarding issues and decided to mux the subs with Zero-Raws encode, which worked fine. I recommend trying that if you know how (beats installing a new codec pack).
It’d be nice of Moetaku encoded it differently though. I would think not being able to play on CCCP+Mpc is a fairly big issue.

I used Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2006-12-15 .
Then I donwloaded the new one Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2008-01-24 .
Now it plays fine! BTW I use MPC.
I use K-Lite codec pack.

I don’t think making love to a codec pack will solve anything, thanks for the info tho, CoNeX ^^;

Well, the original version 6.4.9.1 has been out for ages already, however, Gabest continually releases revisions of it , so you could consider those revisions as beta for 6.4.9.2.

^_^;;; Using the most up to date codec pack is always recommended. Yours was “a bit” outdated.
Humm ya, Im using the same outdated CCCP pack from 2006. I’ll take my lesson to update codecs frequently from now on. Thank 4 the helps here
Switching to the Doom9 fork of MPC fixed that fast forward issue for me. The problem seems to stem from the AAC audio somehow… oh well, at least I got around updating ffdshow-tryouts and haali (didn’t help tho).

i dont have any problems playing this video… and no Fast Forward Problem….
i use Haali Media Splitter, VOBSubs, FFDSHOW … all of it working at the same time.. no problems…. btw i downloaded mkv version, very good quality anyway
crappy encode… fast-forwarding problems with the h264 version using CCCP and Media Player Classic. Learn to encode properly plz.
